Why run recognition on your own server

The same engine that powers the ScanLex desktop app and the online service — but entirely inside your network, under your control.

Data never leaves your perimeter

Recognition runs on your server. Suitable for personal data (including Russian 152-FZ requirements), trade secrets and air-gapped networks — it can be deployed with no internet access at all.

Vendor-independent software

An independent recognition engine and a direct replacement for ABBYY FineReader Server — without giving up quality: text, tables, stamps and layout come across just like the original.

Unlimited users

You pay for server capacity, not for headcount. Onboard an entire department — the price does not grow with the number of people. Ideal for high document volumes.

Browser-based access

Staff work in an ordinary web interface from any computer on the local network — nothing to install. Upload a file, get Word or Excel back.

How it works

From installation to your first recognized document is usually a single business day, with our help at every step.

Deploy the image

A ready-made image (Docker or a virtual machine) is installed on your Linux server. We help with setup and verify everything is running.

Activate the licence key

The licence key is bound to your server. Activation is offline — no permanent internet connection is required.

Your team gets to work

They open the web interface in a browser, upload documents and download the results. Recognition runs on the server; the files stay with you.

What it recognizes

The same proven engine as the ScanLex desktop app and the online service.

To Word, Excel, text and PDF with a searchable, copyable text layer.
Tables and layout — structure, cells and formatting exactly as in the original.
Scans and photos — PDF, JPG, PNG, TIFF; automatic rotation and deskewing.
Russian statutory forms — UPD, TORG-12, VAT invoices and contracts are reconstructed as proper forms.
Document throughput — a queue and parallel processing scaled to your server’s core count.
Russian and English in a single document; stamps and signatures are preserved as images.

Pricing is based on server capacity

Frequently asked questions

Does the server need permanent internet access?

No. ScanLex Server runs in a closed loop — recognition is local and licence activation is offline. It suits isolated and hardened networks.

How is this different from your online service?

On the scanlex.ru online service files are processed on our servers. With the Server edition everything runs on your infrastructure — documents never leave the company perimeter. The recognition engine is identical.

How is it licensed and what does it cost?

The licence covers the server and is priced by the number of cores dedicated to recognition. Users are unlimited. We will quote exactly for your configuration once you send a request.

Which operating systems are supported?

The server runs on Linux and ships as a Docker image or a virtual-machine image. Deployment on Russian distributions such as Astra Linux is available on request.

How is it updated and supported?

We improve the engine continuously and ship an updated image or an update package. Support and deployment assistance are included — we will go through it during the demo.
